Eight people are under investigation
for a plane crash of March 16, 2022 when a Leonardo Aermacchi
M346 Jet crashed in the province of Lecco,prosecutor Ezio
Domenico Basso said Thursday, explaining that they are seven
executives from as many divisions of the aerospace giant and the
second pilot, Giampaolo Goattin from Verona, who was slightly
injured in the accident.
They were all notified of the conclusion of the investigation.
The aircraft crashed into Mount Legnone, causing the death of
the British test pilot Dave Ashley, who was thrown against the
rock face after his seat was ejected from the aircraft.
