An Italian man has been killed in his
home in Tunisia, at Sousse, Italian foreign ministry sources
said Wednesday.
The man, a 73-year-old from the Marche region resident in Italy
but with a holiday property in the North African country, was
attacked and his car and cell phone were stolen, sources who
knew the victim, a former Latin and Greek professor, told ANSA.
The dynamics of the attack are still unclear.
The embassy in Tunis, in coordination with the Farnesina,
foreign ministry sources said, is following the case and is
providing assistance to the man's family.
