Fabio Prevedello, president of the
European association Italy-Ukraine Maidan, told ANSA Saturday
that his members would demonstrate later in the day outside the
US consulate in Milan against American President Donald Trump
after his row with President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White
House Friday saying the American people were not represented by
Trump.
"Today we are demonstrating under the American consulate in
Milan because we are convinced that the American people have not
been represented by their president," said Prevedello.
"We ask US citizens to distance themselves from the attitude of
their president, we are with the American citizens but against
what happened yesterday at the White House.
"We reiterate our solidarity with the American people who
support us against the Russian Federation.
"The initiative was born spontaneously, on the grapevine during
the night".
