The Italian Embassy in Ankara, in cooperation with the Ente Nazionale Giovanni Boccaccio and the University of Roma Tre, is promoting a two-day conference on Giovanni Boccaccio (7-8 April), organised by Ankara University - Department of Italianistics, on the occasion of the 650th anniversary of the death of the author of the Decameron, which falls this year. The conference is entitled 'Che di Ponente verso Levante', and will take place at Ankara University on 7 and 8 April.
