"Italy, Germany and France are the pillars of European aerospace efforts. These three countries are not only the main contributors to the European Space Agency, but are also key players in some of the most ambitious aerospace projects in the world'. This was said by the Italian Ambassador in Berlin Fabrizio Bucci when presenting the event 'Italian, German and French Cooperation in Aerospace: Challenges and Opportunities'. Speakers from the defence, business and science sectors took part in order to take stock of the challenges and opportunities facing the three countries.
The appointment is part of a series of meetings that the Italian Embassy is building with the aim of facilitating collaboration and cooperation between different national players. Just a few weeks ago, an exchange between Italian and German companies in the defence sector was promoted: the atmosphere of the meeting was very positive and fruitful. It is a pragmatic diplomacy, which aims to increase and support the intertwining of private and institutional players, making the Italian-German relationship a sort of pivot with which to promote cooperation extended to other countries, as was the case today with France, represented by the French ambassador in Berlin and a number of companies. "With the rapid evolution of space exploration and technology, the need for strong and collaborative partnerships has never been more pressing," said the Italian ambassador.
