An autographed Italian national football team jersey is on display alongside those of football teams from countries with diplomatic representation in Portugal in the 'Futebol pela Paz' exhibition opened in Lisbon.
The inauguration of the exhibition, with 100 national football team jerseys, some personalised and some autographed, organised by the Portuguese delegation of the Academy of Diplomacy together with the association of sports journalists and the Portuguese Football Federation, was attended by, among others, the head of the Italian Consular Chancellery in Portugal Simone Salvatore.
The exhibition aims to promote sport as an instrument of equality, harmony and peace.
