The Ambassador of Italy to North Macedonia, Paolo Palminteri, paid a courtesy visit this morning to Mgr Kiro Stojanov, Bishop of Skopje and of the Eparchy of Strumica-Skopje.
During the cordial meeting,' the Embassy reported in a note, 'the excellent cooperation of the Catholic Church in North Macedonia with the Macedonian Orthodox Church and with all the other religious communities present in the country was emphasised. It was also hoped that it would be possible to celebrate Holy Mass on a regular basis also in Italian, to respond to the interest shown by the Italian community in North Macedonia.
