The Court of Assizes of Appeal of
Venice On Wednesday confirmed a 16-year sentence of Paolo
Calligaris for the murder of his partner Tatiana Tulissi, which
took place in Manzano (Udine) on November 11, 2008.
This is the third second-degree sentence and the second
confirmation of the conviction of the Friulian entrepreneur.
Calligaris was sentenced to 16 years by the preliminary hearings
judge (GUP) of Udine in 2019 and two years later he was
acquitted on appeal in Trieste, a sentence annulled by the
supreme Court of Cassation with referral to the Court of Assizes
of Appeal of Venice, which confirmed the first-degree sentence
but saw the sentence annulled again.
