Matteo Berrettini beat Belgium's
Zizou Bergs 6-4, 6-4 on Monday night to reach the last 16 at the
Miami Open.
The 28-year-old Roman, the No. 30 seed, will face the Australian
Alex De Minaur, 26, the No 11 seed, in the next round.
Meanwhile No. 6 seed Jasmine Paolini and unseeded Magda Linette
will face off in a Tuesday quarterfinal after the Italian
enjoyed a 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 comeback win over Naomi Osaka.
And Italy's Lorenzo Musetti on Tuesday night will challenge 24
time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic for a spot in the
quarter finals of the Masters 1000 event.
