A local transport strike has been
called by grassroots unions across Italy on Monday.
The 24-hour strike will affect buses, trams and metro services.
Meanwhile, another four-hour protest organized by EasyJet and
Aeroitalia personnel will affect air travel.
Airline staff will strike from 12 until 4 pm.
Local transport will be affected by the 24-hour strike outside
the morning and evening rush hours, with different guaranteed
bands across Italy.
In Rome, services will be guaranteed from 5:30 until 8 am and
from 5:30 to 8 pm.
Services will be guaranteed at the same time in Naples while in
Milan essential services will be ensured until 8:45 am and
between 3 and 6 pm.
