Federica Brignone on Saturday
clinched her second World Cup giant slalom victory in two days
in Sestriere to boost her overall lead at the top of the
standings.
She won ahead of Lara Gut-Behrami and Alice Robinson in second
and third respectively.
Italy's Sofia Goggia, came in fourth.
Brignone also won the giant slalom at Sestriere Friday.
The victory came after the 34-year-old from Milan's recent
success in the giant slalom at the World Championships at
Saalbach in Austria.
Brignone won the World Cup overall title in 2020, becoming the
first Italian female to achieve this feat.
